Detailed Course Description

Generally 1 hour sessions are reserved for those who need deeper one on one help. If you are a frustrated flameworker and you are feeling stuck on something technical and you need advice on how to get over your problem just book a session with the experts here. Trained ZGS mentor Gail Oldroyd and ZGSchool founder Dr Julie Anne Denton are available to book in these 1 hour session. Often these sessions are utilised by the student whilst sitting at their own torch. We can rig an easy camera set-up of you on your torch, thereafter we will help identify your problem areas through watching you. These sessions are a fabulous way of pulling you out of those troublesome bad habits. We also record these troubleshooting sessions for you. Dr Julie is a solid glass worker in soft & boro glass with 25+ years experience and she is the world authority in the artistic combination of sandcast glass with sandcast glass hot. Dr Julie is available on Monday and Tuesday mornings (EST) Gail Oldroyd is an experienced all-rounder in beads, blowing and sculpture in all glass types with 25+ years experience. Gail is available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (EST)
